I'm Felix
A future Centurion from Roman Britain - 310 BC
Hi, I’m Felix from Eboracum, which is the city that you call York. I’m living in the time of Constantine the Great who has been Emperor since 306 AD.
My father is a soldier at Hadrian’s Wall, and my family descend from North Africa. We travel our empire by sea, then make roads for our great armies, but we won’t go anywhere without making an offering to the gods first! We also make our clothes from wool and flax to protect us from the cold and wet weather in Britannia.
We believe that power comes from gods and spirits and we love telling stories. What amazing myths we have! Sometimes these are written down, but they are also acted out at festivals, or at home around the dinner table.

You can see how I live by watching these films. But watch like a hawk... there will be a quiz afterwards!
